2018

Extension in the area of manufacturing big Earthmover Tire Molds by expanding an existing hall to increase our capacities.

2017

Another 3D printing machine has been put into operation to increase capacity in this area.

2016

Investment in a laser-engraving machine who enables us to create very new letterings and textures into sidewall plates for tires. The range of the machine is up to 1600 mm diameter so that also sidewall plates for TBR-Tires can be engraved.
Furthermore, the first 3D printing machine for 3D metal printing has been installed. With this method, tread segments or tread ribs for tire molds can be completely printed out of metal powder. Again, there are new design possibilities that have not been possible or very difficult to implement with the conventional methods of producing tire mold segments.

2013

HERBERT continues to expand its headquarter in Hünfeld. After the establishment of a separate drum shop in 2012, another hall was built this year for the processing and assembly of large OTR-Molds for Earthmover Tire Production.

Now, after 10 years in the U.S. market, HERBERT can say that the acquisition of Barron & Benson in 2003 was the right step . Due to the current workload Herbert USA moved to newer and larger premises in close proximity to the old premises to cover the increased needs of our customers in the USA. After 2005, this is already the second move to a new facility.

2011

The extension of the company premises as well as the use of new machines and systems allow an expansion of the range of products, starting with molds for scooter tires up to earth mover tires so that the requirements of the customers can be fully satisfied and a high quality standard for the products is guaranteed.

2008

The award „Supplier of the Year for the Tire Industry 2007“ was awarded to HERBERT during the TIRE TECHNOLOGY EXPO 2008. The original report of the TIRE TECHNOLOGY EXPO 2008 is available in PDF format at the download area.
